DIGITAL IMAGE RETOUCHING

First of all A SMASHING, representative photo requires a GOOD SHOT.

Both image correction and image manipulation are standard to our workflow.
All photos get checked on disturbing elements. They are removed or corrected.

With image manipulation and effects the picture can get another content.
All images are color corrected in accordance to the colors of the fabric samples.
Also the line of your silhouettes is corrected where needed. After all, it is common for pre-production samples to differ from the final production.
Or that the mannequin has not quite the right sizes for your collection.

Reach the desired audience with a documented press kit.

The content, depending on the product, consists of a press text, documentation on the fashion label, adding various photo material.
 
To succeed you must deliver the press kit both digital and on paper (texts and pictures)

Do not send catalog photos to the press, they will show no interest.
Take sufficient time during the shoot for photos with the emphasis on atmosphere instead of product only.

A relatively SMALL INVESTMENT will give you on term free publications in magazines and trade journals.

VISUAL MATERIAL ON OUR FTP-SERVER

Our ftp server is available 7/7 and 24/24 free of charge for our customers.
With your login and password you can download your print-or web-ready images for further various applications from your own workstation.

Tip:
Share your login with your customers or magazines, so they have immediate access to all recent photos of your collection.
If you do not want this, then keep your login information to yourself.
You can always ask for a new password if you deem it necessary.

Our ISO proofs are printed on the basis of the most recent ISO references and with the new, much smaller tolerances. For every offset printing job we provide an ISO proof. If you are in contact with your commercial printer yourself, but you want more control over the final printing result, then ISO proofs are indispensable. Do not hesitate to ask us for a quote for proofing your print job.

The ISO standard for photographers, commercial printers and pre-press is a standard, which defines the complete workflow from photography, pre-press and offset printing to very narrow and measurable tolerances.

 The objective is not only to produce accurate color reproduction, but also predictable and repeatable results.

 Your ISO (passed) proof is a document that avoids misunderstanding between you and your commercial printer. In fact, your offset printer is able to measure the color strip on your proof and check the report we provided you, against his measured values.

 This workflow simplifies your relation with your commercial printer, by simply expecting a 100 % match between your proof and the printed offset sheets.

Adjustments to the ink limits at the press, which used to be common in the past, are now replaced by 'printing by the numbers'.

The end result of the printed matter can only be as strong as weakest link in the entire production process. Therefore we work entirely according to latest ISO standard.

Every ISO proof job we produce has its own universal control strip printed along the job, which is measured with a photospectrometer. The data are processed in the software, which automatically generates a detailed report that accompanies our proofing job. This is your guarantee for consistent matching at the press.
